“Jewels for the Home” bathtub collection by the ultra-luxury Italian bathtub maker – Baldi will adorn bathrooms at much-anticipated XXII Carat Villa Complex on the Palm Jumeirah. Set to open later in the year, XXII Carat Villas is a development of 22 villas offering the ultimate luxury in beachfront resort-style living on the Palm Jumeirah next to One and Only the Palm. The private beachfront gated community comprises uniquely-designed seven-bedroom villas ranging from 8,000 to 13,000 square feet with dramatic views of the Dubai city skyline.
Each of the 22 properties comes complete with deep tubs made from from rose quartz and green quartz with gold trim, using ad-hoc gemstones to create rare and prestigious bathrooms fit for royalty.
. Some villas will also feature a bathtub carved from a single 10-ton Amazonian crystal, a design that was recently sold to socialite Tamara Ecclestone for $1 million.
The Mediterranean-style holiday villas at the XXII Carat, masterminded by a Russian property developer, are on the market for between £8.5million ($10.8million) and £19million ($24.5million). Despite the eye watering price tag, 30 per cent of the properties have already been snapped up.
Other selling points include private beach access, landscaped gardens and a 24-hour concierge.
