Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.8 was sold at auction for $2.25 million. The car was manufactured in 1993, crossed the a whopping 10 kilometers and is in original condition. Porsche has produced only 51 such issues, and is particularly valuable because it is one of two that come without the standard interior. The interior is upholstered in red leather. The first owner asked Porsche to paint the car in Polar metallic gray color, and brake calipers in golden color.
RSR is powered by 3.8-liter engine that delivers 350hp and 385 Nm of torque, and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Although its body is taken from the Turbo model and adapted, this RSR has a an atmospheric engine.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h only takes 3.7 seconds, which means that in its time was faster than the legendary Ferrari F40. First owner dido’t use it, so the car has only 10 kilometers on its odometer.
