Between 1997 and 2004, General Motors produced close to 250,000 Corvette C5 in the Bowling Green factory, and now one seller offers the last manufactured copy for as much as $1 million. This is otherwise Corvette C5 Commemorative Edition 1SC, in Le Mans Blue, with pop-up headlights, LS1 engine with 350 horsepower, and a mere 29 miles (almost 47 km) on its odometer.
According to the seller, the car is a “like new”, with the factory protective film, labels and tags.
It should be noted that this car, as new in 2004 costed $48,840, while the current owner is asking 21 times bigger sum.
