French brand S.T.Dupont created an exclusive Star Wars chess set to celebrate 40 years of this iconic franchise, which debuted in 1977 … The chessboard is transformed into a miniature battlefield, on which the struggle between light and darkness takes place, in a distant galaxy. The round table was made of obsidian with polished and matte finish, while the figures of the Empire and its rival sides were represented by iconic characters, including Darth Vider, Princess Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca. The gold-designed elements on each figure remind us of the famous look of these characters and definitely revive them.

Figures of the Empire are made of nefrite jade from British Columbia, while the dark side is made of natural stone of crystalline quartz. Each figure is handmade and engraved, and attention to details is quite obvious.
