The house should be moved 400 meters from the current location, on 44 Pleasant Avenue in Montclair, NJ.
The Spatial Planning Directorate in Montclair approved the construction of eight smaller family houses on a land area of 12,000 square meters, CBS reports.
The seller is willing to pay a $10,000 deposit to move the house, and the buyer should offer the rest.
Representatives of the city administration in Montclair say they hope that the house will not be demolished, as it is one of the older houses in this area. It has six bedrooms, as well as three bathrooms.
