The famous athlete Usain Bolt celebrated the end of his career in a very luxurious way. Sprinter took the team to their favorite island of Mykonos, and at Nammos beach bar on Psarrou beach also broke the record – with the sum of the bill.
According to the Greek newspaper “Proto thema”, an athlete whose fortune is valued at $30 million arrived at Mykonos where he posted another record – he paid a bill as much as €88.362!
“On Wednesday afternoon in Namos there were bottles of champagne, and Bolt made the last and most spectacular performance,” the newspaper said, adding that the biggest shock was the bill at the end of the evening.
Bolt and his friends ate and drank only the finest things, and the cheapest bottle of champagne in that place is €120 euros and serves in a protected box that opens to guests. A well-known Greek DJ played music and invited Bolt to sing, not knowing that the athlete will rapp the entire song.
In just the first hour with three friends, they ordered three bottles of Dom Perignon Rose from 2002, worth a total of €75,000 euros, and then ordered another bottle worth €1,100 euros!
In fact, the rest of the time Bolt was trying to sober up and with his friends he left the place last. Usain then took out a black American Express card from which it was removed €88.362, reports newspaper that has a photograph of an unprecedented bill in this bar.
