Mazinger Z is a Japanese super robot manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai. The first manga version was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from October 1972 to August 1973, and it later continued in Kodansha TV Magazine from October 1973 to September 1974. Now, to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the comic and the 50th anniversary of the author ‘Go Nagai’ as a writer, a Tokyo based company has released a solid gold statue of Mazinger Z a massive super robot. Mazinger Z statue is avialble in two versions.
Gold Mazinger Z
The bigger one is 130mm in height and limited to 5 pieces while the smaller one is 70mm tall. The statues come in handmade boxes and cost 18 million Yen ($ 161,700) and 3.3 million Yen ($ 30,000) respectively.
