Some of you certainly remember company called ICON 4×4 which is responsible for some of the craziest cars in the world …
Nevertheless, today we focus on their completely different project, because Jonathan Ward of this company designed a wonderful watch, inspired by the look of the original Duesenberg tachometer.
You are probably familiar with the Duesenberg Motors company, the American manufacturer of racing and luxury cars, founded by the brothers August and Frederick Dusenberg in 1913.
Their name continues to be associated with ultimate luxury and exclusivity, although they have not been in the public eye for several years now.
This minimalistic watch reminds us of vintage vehicles, while at the same time looking and walking towards the future. Under the skin, the movement is of the Dubois-Depreaz Automatic 14400 variety and consists of a custom oscillating tungsten alloy weight that’s augmented by a mix of rhodium and gold plating. This model with a polished onyx dial, comes with an original alligator leather strap.
Produced in a limited edition of only 50 units, this watch has a base made of premium titanium with a double rounded sapphire crystal and a sandblasted titanium body. ICON 4×4 has been working on the design of this model for several years, and it can be yours at a price of $11,500. Do you like it?
