Bang & Olufsen teamed up with the legendary director and artist David Lynch to create a limited edition run of its iconic A9 speaker. The custom lithographic Kvadrat speaker cover features a print from Lynch’s famed Paris Suite series. This collaboration marks the ten-year anniversary of these iconic lithographs by Lynch, who is a longtime fan of Bang & Olufsen. Long fixated on textural ideas of application, Lynch was inspired to bring his print idea to the world of sound.
Each B&O Play Paris Suite A9 Speaker is hand-signed and numbered by David Lynch. A portion of proceeds will contribute to Lynch’s charity, the David Lynch Foundation.
Just like the classic version of the Beoplay A9, this special edition is designed and crafted like a beautiful piece of furniture, with maple-wood legs and great attention to detail. It makes a visually appealing statement displayed anywhere in your home.
The 30 signed and numbered speakers are available exclusively through the MoMA Design Store.
