Honda’s small motorcycle used by John Lennon to scoot around his Tittenhurst Park estate in the Surrey, England, countryside, for few month will seek out a new owner.
It is about Honda Z50A K1, with a volume of 49 cubic meters, owned by a famous singer from 1969 to 1971.
In 1971, when John moved to New York, the motorcycle was sold to Henri Graham, who sold it to the present owner, John Herrington the same year. During the past 47 years, Herrington has exhibited it on many events and exhibitions.

According to the available data, the motorcycle has crossed about 2,360 km since 2010, and it will be offered in the auction scheduled for March 4 in no-restored condition (but completely correct) along with numerous documents confirming its history.
It is expected that the new owner will have to splash about €34,000.
This is not the first Lennon’s machine to be auctioned. In 2008, Honda 160Z, later owned by another member of The Beatles, Ringo Star, was sold for around €33,700, far exceeding the expected sales price of €9,000.
