“Arctic Bath” is the best place in the world to observe polar light, or at least its owners claim it.
Hotel “Arctic Bath”, which will be opened this year, offers a unique experience that allows guests to watch Aurora Borealis from a floating bathroom located in the middle of the remote Arctic River Lule in Laponie in the north of Sweden.
The hotel has a sauna, a spa center, a lounge area, a bar and a restaurant. The main floating bath, made in the form of a bird’s nest, has an opening in the middle just above the river. Lule is mostly frozen over the winter, so it probably presents a much better scene during the summer.
The water in the hotel’s pool is maintained at a temperature of four degrees Celsius. If it’s cold, you can always warm up in a sauna or a spa, as well as in one of six rooms in total.
Every room in the winter is ice-bound, while durting the summer freely floats on the water. Plus, each one has large windows through which you can observe and experience incredible scenes of the polar night sky.
