Collaboration between Hublot and Lausanne University of Art and Design, ECAL, create a new design concept called Hublot Sledge.
The current design of this luxury sledge is based off an earlier concept by student Philippe-Albert Lefebvre who pursued his MAX-Luxe, a Masters in Luxury Design and Industry.Last year he built sledge not only for its showcase-ready design, but also performance on the slopes.
When we put together materials like carbon fiber, steel, ash wood and hand-sewn leather we expect to arouse interest of people like Bentley or Rolls Royce. But in this case this mix of materials is part of the structure of Hublot Sledge. Judging by this the sledge will be fast, stable, powerful and maneuverable.
Edition is limited to 10 pieces. First piece will officially be displayed at the Alpine World Ski Championships in Garmisch Partenkirchen, which Hublot is sponsoring. the other nine will soon find its way to the fastest sledge collectors. [Hublot]
