UAE-based brand Jada Dubai have created a pair of shoes worth over Dhs1 million ($300,000). The high-heeled pumps are made with 54 carats of diamonds, 416.2 carats of white sapphires and have a 19k gold and platinum sole.
Staying true to the princess-status of the collection, the costly footwear is inspired by various royal identities — from a “legendary love story of a mirage princess named Jada in the dessert” to the well-known historic love between Napoleon and his wife Josephine.
The heels took over a year to make, with jewellers from three countries working to get the right balance between gold and platinum for the body of the shoe. Only one pair was made.
$300,00 shoes are part of the brand’s Imperative of Royalty collection, including heels named for Cleopatra, Grace Kelly, and Princess Diana.
