Tankoa Yachts continues collaboration with the Paszkowski studio, this time on a innovative new superyacht that combines breathtaking elegance with an exclusive life quality onboard. S801 concept is inspired by the Amerigo Vespucci, the Italian Navy’s tall ship of 80 meters lenght launched in the 1931.
The yard describes the superstructure as appearing to be “suspended in mid-air, an interpretation of how the sailing ship would appear if her rig was shifted aft”.
Paszkowski utilizes the five deck spaces to value natural light and create a harmonious relationship with the water. The owner’s suite will be situated on the upper deck with a large cabin, two walk-in wardrobes, a massage area, superyacht spa and sauna, office and bathroom.

Furthermore, S801’s Italian fusion of contemporary engineering and forward-thinking design foreshadows perhaps a new flagship for Tankoa’s fleet.
“With S801’s high-tensile steel hull and superstructure of aluminium and other lightweight alloys, Tankoa Yachts is setting out on a trajectory to develop a yacht that will be among the most innovative projects of its kind in terms of aesthetics, construction and technology.” discloses Tankoa. Once completed it will become part of the shipyards megayacht range of 80-88 metres.
Power would come from a pair of Caterpillar 3516 diesel engines for a top speed of 16.5 knots and comfortable cruising at 15 knots. When trimmed back to an economical speed of 12.5 knots, the Tankoa S801 would boast a globetrotting range of 6,000 nautical miles, drawing on a total fuel capacity of 300,000 litres. Meanwhile, Vosper Naiad stabilisers would ensure a smooth cruising experience, both underway and at anchor.
