Italian design house Pininfarina SpA, known for decades designing divine Ferrari models, finally put his name on the hood of a new range of vehicles, like Automobili Pininfarina…
After presenting several concepts of electric vehicles at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, an Italian design firm bought by the Indian brand Mahindra & Mahindra a few years ago will make its luxury electric cars, and the whole story starts with an electric hyper-auto.
With its headquarters in Europe, Automobili Pininfarina will design and manufacture their luxury electric vehicles, using their years of experience in the design field, as well as the knowledge Mahindra brand acquired during its presence in the Formula E championship.
The first Pininfarina model, an electric hyper-car, is likely to arrive in 2020. According to the Autocar portal, this electric hyper auto will use modular surfaces developed jointly by Rimac and Mahindra Formula E team.
We also hear some rumors that this model will have enough power to fit on the Bugatti Chiron model and its horsepower of 1,479 hp. With the code name PF-Zero, this car will cost $2.5 million, and from 0 to 100 will accelerate in two seconds.
