After a great success with the DB4 GT, Aston Martin decided to continue a series that is also likely to be a big hit. It’s about the DB5 model that appeared in the movie “Goldfinger” about British agent James Bond.
Aston Martin will produce a special version of the model with functional add-ons that included the Bond car, including the mobile license plate.
These cars are a joint venture between Aston Martin and EON Productions, which deals with Bond filming. To make it all authentic, cars will be made by Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell where the DB5 was once produced.

Aston Martin has partnered with Oscar winner Chris Corbould, a special effects supervisor from Bond films, to jointly develop and install functional add-ons in DB5. All 25 specimens of the special model will be lacquered in silver, as was the case with the original specimen.
DB5 model has appeared in six more films of popular franchise, such a”Thunderball” (1965), “GoldenEye” (1995), “Tomorrow Never Dies” (1997), “Casino Royale” (2006), “Skyfall” (2012) and “Spectre” (2015). In “Spectre” also appeared model DB10.
One car will cost nearly three million euros, and the first deliveries are expected in 2020. It is important to note that cars will not be legal for road driving.
