At the last Geneva Motor Show Ferrari introduced the extreme version of the 488 GTB – Ferrari 488 Pista, while this weekend at the Concours d’Elegance Pebble Beach event in California, also the cabriolet version of the 488 Pista Spider saw the light of day.
So, the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine also has 530 kW / 720 hp and 770 Nm of torque (which is 185 hp per liter of volume).
Also, compared to the regular 488 Spider, the aero body package has also been changed, with an indication that “aerodynamic efficiency” has increased by 20 percent compared to the standard model.
First of all, we need to mention carbon fiber components (front hood, front bumper, rear bumper and rear diffuser) and lightweight 20-inch wheels.
For the interior, among other things, are leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber elements.
We should also mention the Sideslip Management System (which is Ferrari’s advanced traction and stability control system) as well as extreme direct steering.
This 1380 kg heavy car (weight ratio / power is 1.92 kg per 1 hp) ranges from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, up to 200 km/h in 8.0 seconds and reaches a maximum of 340 km / h.
