Car enthusiasts wondered if they should stay connected to Lamborghini after it became part of the Audi and Volkswagen Group in 1998.
Three years later, however, with the introduction of the Murciélago model, the Italian manufacturer has discovered that it is continuing its distinctive DNA and does not want to comply with major changes under the new management.
The successor of the Diablo car, was offered in Coupes and Roadster variants, and came in many special editions.
One of them was also a Versace model, created in cooperation with the famous, luxury Italian fashion brand.
This variant of the car was created in just twenty copies, with a bold style of bodywork, while only eight of them were created with the steering wheel on the right. All this makes the Murciélago LP640-4 Versace a very rare sight, so the copy can be sold without any problems at a price of £150,000 to £170,000 during the events that will be held within the auction SilverstoneAuctions houses.
Identified as number 19, this special Murciélago was initially transported to New Zealand eleven years ago, where it remained until last year. Then the current owner of the car decided to buy the De Tomaso Pantera model, both to be transported to the United Kingdom.
The beautiful Murciélago Versace was first registered in Britain on April 1 of the same year, and this registration is valid until August 2019.
On the odometer, Lamborghini has 11,300 kilometers traveled, and comes in a perfect condition, followed by a full service history and, of course, a Versace set of travel bags.
The auction house will place this model for sale during the event that will be held at Dallas Burston Polo Club objects, located in Southem on September 29th.
