The very act of cooking meals in the open, filling all the senses. And, now at first glance an ordinary cooking tool such as grill experienced a peak and became not only the world’s most expensive, but equally the world’s most luxurious and technologically advanced barbecue.
An Aemyrie Igneum is more than just a high-end grill; it is a working piece of art.
Designed and constructed entirely by hand in England, Aemyrie was created in 2015 by fine food, wine and cooking aficionado Peter Walsh. With flavour at the heart of an Aemyrie bespoke oven, the one-of-a-kind luxury design was inspired by Peter’s love of the unique flavours created by cooking on wood fires.
Standing proud at 1.4 metres high and 1.5 metres wide, and capable of cooking delicious food for 30 or more guests, the Aemyrie oven uses a world-first, intelligent temperature control mechanism which automatically adjusts to ensure all food is cooked precisely. There are many cooking styles available when using an Aemyrie grill including: smoke, barbecue, grill, roast and sear using solid logs, charcoal, briquettes and hardwood pellets. An innovative and patent pending intelligent temperature control system automatically adjusts the oven settings to ensure food is cooked to complete perfection every time.
Peter Walsh explains, “There are many cooking styles available to a chef when using an Aemyrie oven. A world first, patent pending intelligent temperature control mechanism automatically adjusts the entire system to ensure food is cooked precisely. This allows both food lovers and professional chefs alike to create everything from a steak seared for seconds, to melt-in-the-mouth meats which have been smoked at very low temperature for 20 hours or more.”
Hand-built to order by a team of experts in West Sussex, an Aemyrie Igneum outdoor grill – described as the ‘Rolls-Royce of cooking equipment’ starts from a eye-watering £25,000 ($32,593) and is fully customisable.
