All 106 copies to be produced will get a gold plated 18-carat plate from the manufacturer.
Details are important. The British obviously know this clearly, and uniqueness can be achieved by elements that we do not often see on cars. One such thing is a tile of white 18-carat gold at Speedtail. McLaren’s calling it a “Badge of Honour.”
The gold emblem will be placed on the front of the Speedtail front, and will carry the McLaren markings, indicating where and when they were created.
The gold badge was made especially for this sports car by Vaughtons, which since 1819 created the most expensive badges and trophies – including Olympic gold medals and those related to the winners of the FA Cup in England.
