MV Agusta will retired the F4 Superbike, but before this happens, another special series arrives – a homage to the man who helped in his creation.
MV Agusta F4 Claudio is a true example of company’s commitment to performance and art, with only 100 copies being produced.
This special version is based on the F4 RC platform, which means that a regular four-cylinder engine with 212 hp (in the version with SC Project exhaust with two exhaust pipes) and 115.6 Nm of maximum torque at 9.300 rpm is awaiting us. In the “street” version is available 205 hp.

Reparto Corse division specifically for the new model designed intake and exhaust for the aforementioned four-cylinder unit, in order to improve the dynamics of the fluids, and there are also some improvements aimed at less friction and increased power.
The motorcycle can boast a carbon body, as well as BST carbon wheels. There is also the Ohlins suspension – NIX30 front and TTX36 in the rear, while braking takes care of 320-millimeter T-Drive front discs with Brembo Stilema radial brake calipers.
F4 Claudio weighs 175 kilograms in a racing variant, while the “street” is about 8 kilograms heavier.
It is worth mentioning the Aim MXS instrument panel, the eight-axis slip control with an inertial measurement unit (IMU), a quichtifter and other MVICS electronic accessories.
As the complete departure of the F4 model from the market is expected during the 2020 production, Claudio is the latest version of this cult model of the Italian brand. For a few more years we will not see the superbike model of this company, and it will be interesting to see what will wait us then.
The price is not yet known, but given that the F4 LH44, a version inspired by Louis Hamilton costs nearly 65,500 euros, and that it is weaker than Claudio, you can be sure that it will certainly be high.
