At the end of July, Porsche officially unveiled the restylized version of its smallest SUV model Macan, and in the meantime, expanded its offer with the S version.
It should be noted here that the biggest visual changes in Macan for the model year 2019 suffered the rear part, in the form of new LED lights that are now connected.
Other changes to the styling are pretty subtle, which was also expected (for example, standard LED headlights, as well as new alloy wheels of 20 and 21 inches).
On the other hand, larger changes are foreseen for the interior, among others, a central console has been changed, a larger 11-inch touch screen for the infotainment system, voice commands, an optional GT sports steering wheel and front-glass heater.
Also, the restored Macan also received a modified suspension (with greater use of aluminum for weight reduction), better control, more comfortable driving, and an improved braking system.
As for the 2019 Macan S, its 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged petrol engine with 260 kW/354 hp and 480 Nm (for 10 kW/14 hp and 20 Nm more than its predecessor) is under its hood.
Coupled with the optional Sport Chrono Package, Macan S accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds (0.1 second better than its predecessor), the highest speed is 254 km/h, while fuel consumption is 8.9 l/100 km.
The package also include all-wheel drive, 360 mm disc brakes (as well as PCCB brakes (Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake) and GT sports steering wheel.
