Each of these speakers contains five drivers hand-made in Munich by the grandson of the founder of this brand.
On June 19, 1930, engineer Emil Podzus of Berlin filed a patent application for a “sound reproducing appliance”. His early sound system was actually the beginning of an audio company that is known as Zellaton, as well as the basics of the current innovative product line they offer. Zellaton’s new Statement speakers, for example, use five coupled drivers – components that transform electrical signals into sound waves.
Each of them is designed to produce a specific range of frequency measured in hertz.
All drivers from these speakers are manually made in Munich, by Manuel Podzus, Emil’s grandson, so it takes six weeks to produce one.
Each of the Zellaton Statement speakers weighs about 350 kilograms and is two meters high. Their beautiful matte gray exterior is a stylish statement in its own right without braking the balance that already exists in one room. The price of one of these speakers is $200,000.
