Ruf CTR Anniversary

At the Geneva Motor Show, German company Ruf will also show the first long-awaited production CTR Anniversary that resonates remarkably to their legendary Yellowbird CTR.
The wild potential of the first “Canary bird” CTR on the Nürburgring Nordschleife was best demonstrated by their test driver Stefan Roser, and 32 years after Ruf prepared a production edition of the re-born CTR for the rich enthusiasts around the world to best celebrate their 80th birthday.

Presented two years ago as a concept, the new production CTR that Ruf will premiere at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show is no longer thoroughly updated Porsche 911, because in a famous German company on their own platform they developed and made a car that resembles some “Elfs” before Series 993.
Ruf CTR Anniversary (whose weight, thanks to the accentuated use of carbon fiber is only 1,200 kilograms), is powered by a 3.6 liter bi-turbo boxer engine featuring 710 horsepower.

Enough that the yellow retro Coupe from 0 to 100 km/h reaches in less than 3.5 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h under nine seconds and develops a maximum of 360 km/h.
For comparison, the mass of the current Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is 1.582 kilograms, and an important detail that will further complement the traditionalists is the fact that the Ruf CTR Anniversary will be offered exclusively in combination with a manual 6-speed transmission.
