All planned 125 copies of Koenigsegg’s new ultra-fast Jesko model, whose production begins early next year, have already got their owners.
In the Swedish automotive manufactur have reason to be happy because in just a few days they sold out all planned production of their new ultra-fast Jesko model, which was presented to the audience in a pre-production edition at the recent Auto Show in Geneva.
In Koenigsegg said that 83 specimens were sold even before the Geneva launch, and a few days after the premiere, 42 other cars were purchased by their owners, whose individual price is 2.43 million euros.
Production of the production model Jesko starts at the beginning of next year, and in Koenigsegg plan to make one car per week. Customers will be able to choose between the Track and Top Speed versions, and the exotic two-seater will in any case be powered by a centrally located 5.0 liter V8 engine that, combined with E85, develops 1,600 horsepower.
With the appropriate aerodynamics of the body, Jesko should reach up to 483 km/h and be the fastest car that can be used on public roads.
