Media Decor Allure Moving Art
As attractive as flat panel TVs are, sometimes you just don’t want to look at a big black screen on the wall when you’re not actively watching TV. Media Decor, the leading manufacturer of elegant solutions to discreetly conceal flat screen TVs, just revealed its latest solution, called the Allure Moving Art Series with iColor frames.
The Allure Series iColor frames are available in customized high gloss, lacquer-like finishes from Apple Green to Zebra Black or White. The manufacturer offers an app to aid in selecting the right color or customers can send Media Decor a color chip, fabric swatch, color code number, and more, and they will match it. For artwork, customers can choose from Media Decor’s selection of over 2,000 fine art and photography images or the company can reproduce a high-resolution digital image of an original painting, family portrait, photograph, or company logo, whatever you’ve got. For a truly original piece, Media Decor can supply a compatible canvas for an artist to paint directly onto.
The shadow box frame of the Allure Series that houses the structure, art and motor is only 3-inches wide and has a return to the wall of 3-inches. And since it is essentially a Finished Corner frame, there are no visible mitered corners or seams. Installation is easy as well. The included Z-Extrusion hardware mounts the unit directly to the wall over the TV. Powered by a Lutron Sivoia Electronic Drive Unit with a noise level of <44dBA, the artwork silently rolls up when the TV is on.
Pricing for the new Allure Moving Art with iColor frames starts at $6,700 for a 42″ model, and the shipping starts on March 1, 2011.
