Elvis Prisley’s latest motorcycle was recently auctioned off, earning a hefty sum of money.
This is the 1976 Harley-Davidson FLH, purchased by the King only three months before his death, and has traveled only 202 km.
Last weekend, it was auctioned for $800,000 (about €731,300), making it the third most expensive motorcycle in the world!
The motorcycle itself was sold just before Elvis’ death, to a local Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealer, from where it ended up with Tony Rakovsky.

However, it did not stay with him for long, but ended up at the Pioneer Automobile Museum, owned by Dave Geisler, where he has spent the last 30 years. The machine is almost in perfect condition, and although there are no photos of Elvis on it, there is plenty of evidence to confirm its authenticity.
Prisley was a big fan of two-wheelers but never had a large collection, as he often donated them to charity. Of the 15 motorcycles in his garage, as many as 11 were manufactured by Harley-Davidson.
Many thought the motorcycle would manage to reach the $2 million auction price, but it did not happen. For now, the most expensive motorcycle sold at one auction is the 1951 Vincent Black Lighting, which last year sold for close to €843,000.
In addition to the motorcycle, Elvis’ leather jacket was also auctioned and sold for around €36,500.
