Remember the incredibly sensual Jaguar C-X75 concept model, which was used as the villain car in the James Bond movie Spectre?
The original car used to make the film will be auctioned in Abu Dhabi very soon and is expected to reach $1.2 million. The famous model debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and was created in partnership with the Formula 1 Williams F1 Advanced Engineering team. With a hybrid suitable with a gas turbine engine that generates electricity, a wild 780-horsepower supercar was to go into production with 250 models planned.

Still, the project was thrown into the fold two years after its introduction, so only five prototypes were ever created, along with a handful of models for film purposes.
The film models were mechanically different from the concept, powered by a version of the Jaguar F-Type V8 engine with a dry lubricating oil system. The car will be auctioned off at RM Sotheby’s Abu Dhabi later this month, and will come with an invoice, specs and record from the shoot.

“Not only has this model been able to perform one of the most intense and technologically advanced Bond movie chase scenes to date, it also represents a never-before-produced model, created in collaboration with incredible partners,” says Will Smith, a specialist for cars at RM Sotheby’s auction house.
