Aston Martin has unveiled its first SUV, and now this prestigious brand is making its mark on the ultimate vehicle, of course in collaboration with Airbus.
The special helicopter is labeled ACH130 Aston Martin Edition, and despite being the name of a supercar manufacturer, is manufactured by Airbus Corporate Helicopters. More specifically, it is a luxury helicopter for private use designed to delight both owners and pilots of helicopters with a range of four different interior and exterior designs, which is what Aston Martin deserves.
Customers have a choice of four exterior interior colors, with special details that highlight the Aston Martin logo as those on the headrests.
From the outside, customers can choose the special Stirling Green color shown on the first copy of this helicopter, which interestingly goes into the Jet Black color on the bottom of the helicopter. Also in this combination the roof of the helicopter is painted Skyfall Silver. With this combination, customers can also choose from Xenon Gray, Arizona or Ultramarine Black.
Airbus Corporate Helicopters say the cabin is inspired by sports cars, which offer a higher level of comfort, and comes with quality black leather trim that can be combined with Oxford Tan, Pure Black, Cormorant and Ivory seat trims. An interesting detail is the rear part of the front seats, which is made like the Aston Martin DB11, while the door is lined with leather. Each helicopter of this special issue will have a special nameplate on the instrument console highlighting the partnership’s logo, issue number and owner’s name, if they wish.
Of course, it doesn’t just end with a pretty look. Such a helicopter should not lack the power, as one would expect from an Aston Martin branded product. The Arriel 2D jet engine is now in charge of the engine, producing 952 horsepower and allowing the helicopter to cruise at 134 knots. The helicopter can carry up to six passengers and remain in the air for up to four hours on a full fuel tank.
