Aston Martin introduced the new Vantage Coupe back in November 2017 (as of May 2018, manufactured at the Gaydon Factory in the UK), while its Roadster edition will be available to customers from summer 2020.
To confirm this, Aston Martin also released a set of official images of the definitive serial model today (in the past months we could only see photos of pre-production models).
It should be noted that the lowering / rising the roof is done in less than seven seconds and can be done at speeds up to 50 km/h.
Like the V8 Vantage Coupe, the Roadster will be powered by a Mercedes-AMG 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 510hp and 685Nm (combined with eight-speed automatic).
With a weight of up to 60 kg, this folding-roof version has slightly lower performance than the Coupe variant, which in practice means that it accelerates to 100 km/h in just under 4 seconds and reaches a maximum of 306 km/h.
In terms of price, the Aston Martin Vantage Roadster costs just over €150,000.
