Aston Martin ended production of the DB5 in 1965, and 55 years later the grand tourer came off the production line again with the same design and numerous “toys” from British secret agent James Bond.
This car pays homage to the DB5 model used by MI6 agent James Bond, played by Sean Connery in the 1964 film Goldfinger.

The “new” DB5 costs £2.75 million without taxes, it is painted in silver as well as the original, and 4,500 working hours have been spent on its production. It also owns all Bond “toys”, from fake machine guns to a functional smoke extraction system. Also, on the passenger side is a removable panel and is available as an option. The license plates can be reversed and this system offers three different options, and there are also some non-functional parts of Bond’s arsenal.
Aston Martin has installed a rear bulletproof glass, and inside is an imitation of a radar screen and a phone mounted on the driver’s door. Under the seat is a weapon compartment.

The car is powered by an atmospheric 4.0-liter 6-cylinder engine whose 290 hp is delivered to the rear wheels via a five-speed ZF manual transmission and a limited-slip mechanical differential.
DB5 has an original design with aluminum body panels and a steel chassis.
Deliveries to customers have already begun and will continue this year. Production is limited to only 25 copies.
