Graf von Faber-Castell and Bentley have collaborated to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Woolf Barnato’s “Blue Train” race, and thus emerged the new Bentley Limited Edition Barnato pen series.
A truly unique writing instrument, with the highest standards of craftmanship combine moder luxury and extraordinary timelessnes.
Each pen within the new series features lacquered metal barrel in the characteristic dark “racing” green that is often associated with Barnato.
The barrel is carefully hand-guilloched in the signature diamond patterns that forms a strong part of Bentley’s own design language. The chrome plated front and end section of the pen also gleames in a dark green glaze. The cap is adorned with the iconin Bentley B, Bentley-style knurling and Woolf Barnato’s original handwritten signature as a reminder of extraordinary that lives on at Bentley today.
The collection has been limited to just 1,930 pieces, and the prices start at £450 (roughly $580). The edition number is engraved on the threaded ring of each pen.
