The $60 Million iPad-Controlled Gulfstream G550 Private Jet
Stefan Radev, a young industrial designer from Spain, has unveiled while ago his impressive Blue Dynamics Landyacht eco-vehicle. And now, for his latest project he’s given the $60 million Gulfstream G550 jet a makeover, including some nifty iPad controls a la P. Diddy’s Solemates superyacht. Radev’s concept design is intended to create an aircraft that provides a premium luxury experience. And this is not limited to just the passenger section. It is set to embrace the cockpit as well.
Starting from the oval shaped windows letting more natural lights to access the interior, to wide-open and comfortable seating arrangements, this functional concept will certainly set a new definition of luxury. The interior elements have been designed with wood and some widely used electronic gadgets like iPod, iPad, iPhone, etc has been incorporated with the cabin to control environment or for entertainment.
One of the coolest features is that pilots of this multi-million dollar jet can also put the plane on autopilot mode and attend the party inside. The cockpit area is highly functional and its design is quite unique. The final outcome would be an elegant and pleasant space where passengers will enjoy doing their office work or having some pleasure time during the long flight.
For now, this is just a concept, but enough millions dollars can help to become a real. [Stefan Radev]
