Girard-Perregaux 1966 Blue Dial Chronograph
To celebrate its 220th anniversary, the Girard-Perregaux Manufacture has added this year, a new white gold chronograph with a chic blue dial as part of its Girard-Perregaux 1966 collection.
The watch itself features a 40mm white gold case that’s coupled with a black alligator strap. Inside is a complex system of 338 components which make the GP030CO, the brand’s automatic, self-winding movement. The front of the case is covered by a strong anti-reflective sapphire crystal while the back of it is made of transparent glass. The crown at three o’clock is accompanied by two push pieces at two and four o’clock respectively. The watch case of the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Blue Dial Chronograph watch is able to resist water to 30 meters. The movement is able to reserve power to 36 hours.
In 1966, Girard-Perregaux received the Centenary Prize from the Neuchatel Observatory in recognition of its research in the field of precision. The Girard-Perregaux 1966 collection pays tribute to this spirit of innovation, and has become an icon of the Brand.
Prices for the 1966 Blue Chronograph are $29,700 on the strap and $51,850 on the gold bracelet.
