Paul Smith and Jo Malone Royal Wedding Cakes in the Harrod’s Window
To celebrate The Royal Wedding Harrods has invited a host of famed designers to add their unique touch and create The Royal Wedding Cake Window. In each of the store’s iconic Brompton Road windows has been housed one of the 17 magnificent cakes created by big-name designers: Estée Lauder, Matthew Williamson, Jo Malone, Lalique, Missoni Home, Montblanc, Paul Smith, Richard James, Temperley, Theo Fennell, Van Cleef & Arpels and Wedgwood.
The Royal Wedding Cake showcase began on Tuesday 26 and ends today. Each Harrods window has a designer cake, a designer wedding dress, cutlery and china, everything needed to celebrate the royal wedding. Displayed within an ornate blue and silver frame, the window pays homage to the Royal-Couple-to-be and incorporates HRH Prince William’s coat of arms.
