An E Color, Oval-cut 46.51 ct. Diamond Ring
Following on the heels of Christie’s blockbuster $78 million jewelry auction in Geneva last week, Christie’s announces highlights of its upcoming sale of Important Jewels on June 14 in New York. The top lot at Christie’s New York ‘Important Jewels’ sale in Manhattan, will be a 46.51-carat, D, oval-cut diamond ring, with an estimated pre-sale value of $2.5 million to $3.5 million.
The ring is flanked on either side by a pear-shaped diamond, weighing approximately 1.00 and 1.01 carats, VS1 and VS2 clarity respectively, mounted in platinum. Other noteworthy items include a 10-carat, D-colour, pear-shaped diamond estimated at $1.1 million to $1.5 million, and a ear pendant garnished with yellow diamonds and set in platinum and gold (estimated at $600,000 to $800,000).
