Absolut SF
San Francisco version of Absolut Vodka has arrived. Absolut latest edition to a city-series already includes New Orleans, Los Angeles, Boston and Brooklyn, so the third largest brand of alcoholic spirits in the world has announced Absolut SF, a new limited-edition launch of vodka flavor dedicated to San Francisco.
The new product features a blend of grape, dragon fruit and papaya that provides spirits drinkers with a bold flavor when mixing a cocktail. This seemingly random mix of flavors, in fact has the meaning – the grape represents Wine Country and the dragon fruit and papaya represent the Asian and Latin communities, respectively.
ABsolut shows its commitment to San Francisco by running a campaign that invites consumers to express themselves at www.facebook.com/ABSOLUT by answering What’s your ABSOLUT SF? – the one thing that makes your neighborhood San Francisco’s best. As a result of the campaign, the Absolut Capitol of SF will be awarded to the neighborhood with the biggest participation. Winners will receive a special placement tab on Facebook and a mural in their honor.
Absolut is also expressing its love for San Francisco by donating $50,000 to Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco to support affordable green homes development in Daly City.
