Gordon Murray’s Formula One-style Batmobile
Latest version of Batmobile was created by F1 designer Professor Gordon Murray for the premiere of the Batman Live World Arena Tour. Gordon’s taken inspiration from memories of playing with Batman comics and toy cars and also adding advanced materials and aerodynamic principles from his F1 connection.
This version of the Batmobile features wheels with LED lighting, a two-seat sliding canopy shape, smoke-ejecting exhaust pipe and the trademark sleek carbon finish design which has been noted in previous versions ofthe vehicles. The engine has been powered with high acceleration for quick pickup and swift movement capabilities and the power comes from an eco-friendly hydrogen fuel cell. The chassis has been made with special carbon fiber which makes the car lighter in weight, and more durable too.
The Gordon Murray Batmobile will be used in the Batman Live World Arena Tour, which is touring now in the U.K., with US dates to follow later.
