Elizabeth Taylor’s Bel Air Home
Elizabeth Taylor’s ranch-style house in Bel Air, California, has found its buyer. Taylor’s 1960s home was listed past May for $8.6 million and now has been sold to an unnamed buyer for an undisclosed sum. According to announcement from listing agent David Mossler of Teles Properties, the property was purchased after 33 days on the market.
Late May when the house was listed for selling we wrote about its features and how Taylor made this place her home, her real home, so the public and fans would appreciate those personal touches. The house that was previously owned by another legend, Nancy Sinatra Sr. sits on 1.27 acres and has 7,000 square feet of space on the main floor with a wood-beam ceiling, galley kitchen, two family bedrooms and a lower master suite.
The home rocked five bedrooms, including a master bedroom lined with her signature lavender matching her eyes. Her living room had a beamed ceiling. A former movie screening room transformed into her office. The grounds feature koi pond, swimming pool, of course, hothouse for growing orchids and a terraced English garden. [Hollywood Reporter]
