If a limited edition Lexus LFA isn’t unique enough for you, simply check out the even more limited Lexus LFA Nürburgring Special Edition. Called the Nürburgring Package in reference to the world-famous race track in Germany where the legend of the LF-A came to life, this special edition LF-A will be distinguished by a fixed rear wing, larger front spoiler, sports tuned suspension and high grip tires.
Mechanical changes include a ‘sport tuned’ suspension, although it’s hard to imagine how much more sporting it could be than a ‘regular’ LFA. The Ring car should be marginally faster thanks to the extra 10 horsepower that has been squeezed out of the 4.8-liter V10 bringing the total to 562 hp. The gear changes have been sped up by 50 milliseconds, bringing the shift time to just 150 ms.
Also this special edition will be offered in only four colors: Matte Black, Black, White or Orange and a choice of three interior color schemes – black and red, black and purple or just black. Just 50 examples of the hardcore super-Lexus will be made to celebrate the company’s entry in the Nurburgring 24-hour endurance race.
The standard Lexus LFA carries a price tag of $375,000 and with the Nürburgring package, it rises to a whopping $445,000 – or $465,000 if you’d like the optional $20,000 matte black paint job.
