The legendary whisky brand, Dalmore has partnered with Britain’s leading men’s tailor, Lutwyche to launch its first luxury men’s shoe. This is for the first time that an alcohol brand is seen producing a shoe in collaboration with another luxury brand.
The Dalmore brogue made by Lutwyche use sustainably sourced deerskin and acknowledged with the regal Dalmore stag’s head crest. The deerskin is rare and extremely soft and the shoe made out of that leather has an ability to mould to the foot with frequent wear. The luxury shoes are produced with the use of latest cutting edge technology that sits alongside traditional craftsmanship.
Lutwyche’s founder, Tony Lutwyche went on to say We are extremely excited to be launching our first Lutwyche shoe in partnership with The Dalmore. Both brands pride themselves on their commitment to excellence, artisan craftsmanship and their rich heritage. We have created a classic shoe with timeless appeal and courtesy of Dalmore added a little extra something for our customers to mark the occasion.
The Dalmore Master Distiller, Richard Paterson feels that the two brands are similar in terms of artisanship, exclusivity and excellence. Both partners have put in their best in creating this shoe and hopes the partnership flourishes and creates many unique and great things.
The Dalmore Lutwyche luxury shoes will be available at the Lutwyche’s Clifford Street store form 27th October. The shoes cost £550 ($865) and a complimentary bottle of Dalmore’s King Alexander III whiskey worth £150 ($235) will be included.
