Listed by Forbes Magazine as one of the most expensive home in the United States, Suzanne Saperstein’s Fleur De Lys Estate for $125 million is back on the market. This Versailles-style estate was built during the 1990s and it took five years to build.

Located at 350 North Carolwood Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90077, this luxury house is inspired by 17th-century Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicompte, one of France’s most elaborate chateaux. Swedish philanthropist Suzanne Saperstein decorated the manse with 18th century French furniture and Faberge eggs, filling the closets with couture and a collection of Hermes Birkin and Kelly bags which would inspire accessory envy in any red-blooded fashionista.
Holmby Hills’ Estate that spread over 45,000 square feet (4,200 m2) has 12 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a ballroom, two kitchens, a 50 seat screening room, marble walls, limestone floors, and a nine car garage. The outside of the mansion features a three bedroom house for the mansion’s manager, along with staff quarters capable of accommodating ten individuals.
Fleur de Lys first came on the market in 2007, shortly after Saperstein’s divorce from Texas entrepreneur David I. Saperstein, which in turn came shortly after the house was completed. The estate has been off the open market since October 2009, according to Redfin, but it was rumored recently that The Manor’s new owner, young Brit heiress Petra Ecclestone, had originally planned to buy Fleur de Lys instead.
