Would you pay $1,300 for a video game? Some hardcore collectors certainly would. Although it cost 105,000 yen ($1,300), new Capcom’s Resident Evil 6 Premium Edition will certainly find way to its fans.
This premium edition might cost so much, because it actually includes a leather jacket just like the one worn by Leon in the game. The jacket will be available in a variety of sizes ranging from S, M, L and XL. It will also come with the game and a set of four tablet case covers that comes in four different inscriptions: Chris, Leon, Jake and a yet-to-be-announced label.
Japanese gamers can preorder Resident Evil 6 Premium Edition now through e-Capcom, Capcom’s own online store. And, gamers who’ll buy the standard version of the game from e-Capcom, they will get a bonus of one tablet case cover.
Resident Evil 6, sporting a brand new control system and zombies using weapons, is scheduled for release on October 2 in standard edition form for the much more reasonable price of $60. [Capcom]
