International property developer Mohamed Hadid has just listed his newest mega mansion, aptly dubbed Le Palais, for a whopping $58 million. If you have watched the reality show, Shahs of Sunset or the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Season 2, Episode 8, where Mohamed Hadid hosted an engagement soiree for Lisa’s daughter, Pandora at his fabulous home, then you’ll exactly know which house we are talking about.
Located at 904 North Crescent Drive, the 48,000-square-foot Le Palais mega mansion sits on 1.09 acres, right across the street from the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The French chateau-style mansion with a limestone exterior and contemporary interiors spreads over three floors and includes seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Three additional bathrooms are in the outdoor areas. It boasts with hand-cut Lalique-style glass doors and crystal chandeliers throughout, Moroccan room, 5000 bottle wine cellar, elaborate Turkish bath with hand-carved Egyptian limestone columns and marble walls, full bar made of Persian Onyx, 36-foot long indoor swimming pool, 50-seat home theater, outdoor swimming pool, swan pond, numerous outdoor sculptures, 10-car garage and much more. It’s even got a 3,800 square-foot rooftop garden to boot!
Mohamed admitted his place has his fingerprint upon it but hopes someone else might enjoy his personal touches. “This was built for me personally, but I did it with the thought in mind that there is one person out there that would love to have this house for his own use … I build castles as homes, but I make sure they are warm,” Mohamed said.
Mohamed originally purchased Le Palais, luxury Beverly Hills mega mansion for $50 million and now it’s on the market for $58 million, making it one of the most expensive homes for sale in the US at the moment. [Joyce Rey]
