Two weeks before revealing Christopher Nolan’s third Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, Hot Toys unveils their most movie-accurate 1/6th scale DX Batman/ Bruce Wayne Collectible Figure from this movie.
The Batman/ Bruce Wayne Collectible is the highly detailed and newly developed action figure, which has been specially crafted based on the iconic image of actor Christian Bale as the legendary character Bruce Wayne/Batman. It will be released under Hot Toys’ premium DX range meaning it will come equipped with the PERS (Parallel Eyeball Rolling System) on Batman’s head, that allows life-like eyeball movement.
This Hot Toys’ 5th Christopher Nolan Batman action figure also features a very lifelike and accurate sculpt of Christian Bale who plays the caped crusader in the movie. The 1:6th scale Batman/ Bruce Wayne Collectible Figure also features swappable mouth pieces to allow almost unlimited expressions of the Batman. Also, rather than using rubber-like material for Bats’ armor as seen in the earlier releases, this version is equipped with specially made fabric costume with armor plating to accurately represent the costume design as seen in the movie. Weapons, and accessories from the movie are also inevitable.
The figure is now available for pre-order from most high-end toys and collectible stores and expect it to hit stores early 2013, and it’ll cost around $220.
