Rolls Royce from 1962 is a real treasure by itself, but if adorned with Swarovski crystals, it becomes invaluable! Such one example of Rolls Royce was displayed at the Four Seasons Hotel in Munich, southern Germany, on July 17, 2012.
This Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II from 1962, covered with a whopping million Swarovski crystals is to be auctioned in the next months for the ‘Help in Motion’ charity foundation helping drug addicts. No price of the car has been set as of now (I bet, we can only dream about it).
The car’s entire body (from front to tail end) has been studded with Swarovski crystals to make this old beauty shimmer in all the colors of rainbow. It took more than three year to put over a million uniquely cut crystals all over the car.
Brand’s enthusiasts probably know that Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II was first introduced in 1959 and models were built until March 1966. It was equipped with 6.2 L V8 engine, was capable of sprinting to a top speed of 114mph and had a gross weight of 2.11 tones when rolled out of the factory.
