RJ – Romain Jerome, a Swiss luxury watch company extends its famous Titanic-DNA collection by launching its first diver’s timepiece, aptly named the Octopus (ocean giant from Jules Verne’s famous novel Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea). To meet the criteria Titanic-DNA collection, the notched bezel contains oxidised and stabilised steel from the Titanic.
Number eight is pervasive on the Octopus. The watch is limited to 888 pieces, a water resistant to 888 feet (270 meters), two screw-locked crowns are adorned with eight rivets, eight octagon head screws on the 45mm case, as well as on the back of the watch which is stamped by a hand-engraved octopus.
Romain Jerome Octopus will be available in a few styles: steel, black PVD-coated steel and black PVD-coated steel with red gold, with the price of $13,750 for Metal and Black Octopus and $14,900 for Red Octopus.
