To commemorate brand’s 100 year anniversary, Montegrappa has launched the stunning Centennial Dragon Collection. Unveiled at brand’s first appearance at The Luxury Review event, held by RAND Luxury, an International event-production company that caters to the world’s finest luxury brands, Montegrappa showcased remarkable new pens never before seen in public, part of its new Centennial Dragon Collection. The centerpiece of the collection was $1 million Centennial Dragon Pen, followed by the Brain Pen, inspired by American Professor of Neurology Dr Richard Restak, with whom Montegrappa has been working for two years to develop this complex creation.
The entire Dragon collection is divided into three different sets – 33 fountain pens in rose gold featuring black and white diamonds, 33 fountain pens in yellow gold with emeralds and white diamonds and 33 fountain pens in white gold with blue sapphires and white diamonds. The 100th and final pen is the Centennial Dragon worth $1 million.
Montegrappa has chosen the theme of Dragon, because the Dragon has been symbolic in the brand’s history, with the ‘Dragon’ pen launched in 1995 being one of their most popular pens. It was in fact used by Boris Yeltsin to formally hand over power to Vladimir Putin.
The event also saw Montegrappa’s recent masterpieces including the Alchemist, Chaos, Frank Sinatra and the complete set of Batman pen, watch and cufflinks.
