New 40mm wide Piaget Altiplano Date Watch is an enhanced version of Altiplano 43 Automatic that came out a few years ago. The size is down to 40mm wide from 43mm and Piaget added a date complication. This is owing to the automatic caliber 1205P which is a mere 3 mm while the case is of only a 6.36 mm thickness.
One more stunning model is Piaget Altiplano Skeleton Gem-set Watch in 18k white gold with a 40mm case set in about 1.9 cts. of 216 brilliant-cut diamonds. The Altiplano features a Manufacture Piaget 838D ultra-thin hand-wound, gem-set mechanical movement, also in 18k white gold.
