What better way to meet and have a chat with Katy Perry, than to do it by the pool. While most stars sit behind a table in a hotel conference room, Katy opted to promote Singfest 2010 in Singapore wearing a frilly two-piece bikini. What’s more, the popular singer held the media chat in the swimming pool of the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, three times the length of an Olympic pool and 650ft up.

The singer donned her finest, frilly bikini and joined a host of reporters in an infinity pool on the rooftop of the Marina Bay hotel in Singapore. Surrounded by an array of inflatables, the 24 year old discussed her appearance at Singfest. Katy revealed that she had not expected to have many fans here in Asia because we are ‘so far away from the United States’, and that having half the crowd of 15,000 sing along to her songs’ lyrics at MTV World Stage Live in Kuala Lumpur was a very emotional moment for her.
